The Zak Hayes Memorial CannaMap was created and added to this blog back in March of 2016. It is a map of all the New Mexico Medical cannabis dispensaries, statewide. The day I finished the first version, our New Mexico cannabis community lost a beloved young man named Zak Hayes. Zak passed from complications due to his lifelong battle with Cystic Fibrosis. This map is dedicated to you, lil brother! Zak was so loved that a new medical cannabis strain was created and named for him. It’s a cross of two of his favorite strains, Strawberry Cough and Killer Haze. It wasn’t much of a stretch to name this one, Zak Haze.
The Zak Hayes Memorial CannaMap will always be a work in progress, just as our NM Medical Cannabis Program is, and it’s updated as needed a few times per year. Since it is a Google Map and cannot be made “searchable” I have created this new post so NM patients may find it easier. Please share. Zak would want that. Someone gave me leaves of marijuana and added it to the sugarcane alcohol and it turned to deep green, is that normal? Or maybe it wasnt marijuana?
