Pharmaceuticals vs FECO

This post is for people who feel that pharmaceutical drugs fail to adequately address their illness or its symptoms, or for whom mainstream medicine has failed, and for patients who are getting so sick from pharmaceutical drugs that more drugs are being pushed on them to combat side effects. There is hope and remedy with pure cannabis medicine. You may be able to escape this vicious circle.

As modern Americans, we have been conditioned to follow and trust a doctor’s orders and to just take the pills they prescribe for us. Doctors have been conditioned to hand out medications that have been through clinical trials and are approved by the FDA, and are pushed on them by pharmaceutical companies. Doctors are supposed to consider the risk of the drug and its side effects against the quality of life without the medication. But often times the doctors don’t even KNOW the side effects, are only made aware of what the drug company will acquiesce to saying publicly, and they trust the FDA and the pharmaceutical companies to our demise. It is a nasty web to become entangled in.

My sister was prescribed a new drug quite a few years back called Vioxx. It was an NSAID (Non steroidal anti-inflammatory drug) like aspirin or ibuprofen but stronger. On her first dose she became very ill and was told to stop taking it immediately. Then later she discovered it was a heart attack, and she could have died like others using this drug. Vioxx was pulled off the shelf of “FDA approved” drugs. Why? Because of increased risk of heart attack and stroke; linked to about 27,785 heart attacks or sudden cardiac deaths between May 20, 1999 and 2003. This happens a lot, folks. See this list of 35 drugs that had been approved and then later pulled. It is a fearsome list, and it’s just the short list.

OK – That is the drugs that have been pulled. Thousands of drugs still on the approved list have life threatening consequences for many people, and you can bet well on the likelihood that many of these currently approved drugs will also be pulled off the shelves in the future, without a doubt.

full extract cannabis oil

FECO, or full extract cannabis oil, is being used to treat a myriad of illnesses from cancer to auto immune diseases.

The drug I recently dropped from my own list of meds is called methotrexate. Methotrexate was designed and used as chemotherapy drug. Later it was discovered that it had another use as an immune suppressant, when taken in lower but still dangerous doses. This was great news for people out there who suffer crippling diseases like rheumatoid and psoriatic arthritis and a multitude of other auto immune illnesses. But what are the risks? Kidney disease, kidney failure, liver disease, liver toxicity, liver failure, Non-Hodgkins Lymphoma. Death. It also stops your body from fighting off infections, so you get sick more often, and I have witnessed this first hand. And so goes my Pharmaceutical drug rant.

My new auto-immune drug is made in my kitchen and is available at dispensaries, and it is called FECO – Full Extract Cannabis Oil – made at low heat to preserve terpenes and cannabinoid acids, (THCa and CBDa). I have Rheumatoid Arthritis, as well as Fibromyalsia and severe Osteoarthritis. This cannabis product is also available at most dispensaries. This whole plant extract is made at low heat to preserve terpenes and cannabinoid acids, (THCa and CBDa). I had been using FECO that was heavy on delta 9 THC and had been decarboxylated, (heated at high temperature for a lengthy time), for almost a year before I switched to a combo oil with THC and CBD in it. It made me feel better too, but not excellent. Then I made my own oil and that is when I saw the best results. My overall health has me feeling better than I have felt in about ten years. The difference with my last batch of FECO was I never subjected it to a very high heat. I forgot to decarb the plant matter before the process, and since I didn’t use very high heat to process it, I may have preserved some of the acid forms of the cannabinoids, (THCa and CBDa). Could it be that I had stumbled upon something perfect for my condition? It sure seems that way. Since I barely have enough oil left to get tested, and I am reluctant to give any of it up since I’m feeling so good, I will be making a new batch soon from the same plant matter, and will report the results.

I use a minimum dose of FECO that thus far has NOT been very scientific since it wasn’t tested for exact dose, but I can’t say that is a bad place to start, because it worked for me and many thousands of other people, and it can’t hurt you at all. I use a rice grain size of FECO in a gelatin capsule that is then filled with organic coconut oil. Sometimes I use hemp seed oil as a filler.  That’s all I’ve ever taken. Some people refer to this as a micro dose. As it turns out I’m on to something, because micro dosing is becoming more and more popular and it’s working for lots of people with all sorts of ailment. This is the place to start. Also, please read this other very useful post about micro dosing.

  2. Good Morning
I was diagnosed with an aggresive form of Rheumatoid Arthritis four years ago. I was immediately given a variety of steroids, anti inflammatory medications and methotrexate. After two and a half years I began to wean myself of the methotrexate because I hated the side effects. I continued to take the weekly injections of Irencia (which btw gave me bells palsy for two weeks and was told to stop taking the injections for a month). Needless to say I began to wean myself of the injections as well.
I was recently in Colorado were I went to a dispensery, they told me about CBD to help with pain in my hands. I haven’t noticed a change in level of pain but am very interested in knowing more about your treatment to relieve and reduce RA symptoms.
I appreciate your time, thank you for your research and time

    • I utilize turmeric with black pepper, fish oil, a low dose of Hydroxychloroquine along with the FECO that is CBD and THC and or CBD and THCa. Everyone is different as to dosage, but for RA pain the THCa is even better than CBD or THC alone. Read about THCa here and also here.
